Your crossing of the Wadi Rum desert environment starts in Amman, capital of Jordan. This city from the Iron Age is one of the oldest in the world. It is the gateway to the desert and to 9000 years of history. On your way to the ancient city of Petra, you’ll witness spectacular desert landscapes made up of canyons, natural archways, cliffs and caves. At the end of your journey, you’ll finally arrive at Petra, a city founded in the 8th century B.C., well known for its history, its buildings and its facades cut into the sandstone.
