Urban BBQ 2023
A new record: over $700,000 raised for the cancer research society! The 9th edition of the Urban BBQ presented by RBC Royal Bank (Quebec), in support of the Cancer Research Society (CRS) was held on June 7, 2023, at the Grand Quai du Port de Montréal. The event raised a record $700,000 NET and hosted 1000 guests.
Under the theme “Around the World”, the success of the Urban BBQ, was due in no small part to the members of the event’s honorary committee, as well as chef Marc-André Jetté, Urban BBQ ambassador Ricardo Larrivée and host Marie-Soleil Dion.
We would also like to thank the honorary patrons, participants, donors and volunteers for their participation and involvement, especially Nadine Renaud-Tinker, Regional President of RBC Royal Bank in Quebec and honorary patron of the event, and Jean-François Prince, Vice-President, Business Financial Services, RBC Royal Bank in Quebec and President of the Urban BBQ Honorary Patrons Committee.

CRS spokesman André Robitaille sent a video from his Challenge against cancer in India, an CRS program that organizes treks in aid of cancer research.
