Together to outsmart prostate cancer

September 11, 2024 – The Cancer Research Society (CRS) is proud to announce its strategic partnership with PROCURE, an organization dedicated to the fight against prostate cancer. Together, our two organizations are combining forces to support innovative translational research related to the prevention, detection, or treatment of prostate cancer.

A $2 million investment for scientific breakthroughs

As part of this alliance, $2 million will be allocated to four groundbreaking research projects, each receiving $500,000 over three years. This financial support underscores the unwavering commitment of the CRS and PROCURE to advancing cutting-edge research aimed at improving outcomes and quality of life for men affected by this type of cancer.

“This unique partnership with PROCURE strengthens our support for research on prostate cancer, one of the most common cancers among men in Canada. Together, we have the opportunity to advance knowledge and treatments, offering patients renewed hope.” – Manon Pepin, President and CEO of the CRS.

“We are deeply committed to forming partnerships with various collaborators to advance science. Our collaboration with the Cancer Research Society adds to this valuable list of partners and represents a major step forward in our mission. Together, we aim to push the boundaries of innovation and provide a better future for patients facing prostate cancer.” – Laurent Proulx, President and CEO of PROCURE.

Toward a future where research makes a difference
