A Historic Milestone: 100 Operating Grants Awarded
November 4, 2024 - The Cancer Research Society (CRS) is proud to announce the awarding of a record 100 Operating Grants this year, representing a commitment of $13M over 2 years. This unprecedented support will enable recipient researchers and their teams to pursue innovative and promising projects across all types of cancer.
Each of these grants will enable researchers to pursue cutting-edge projects, deepening our understanding of cancer, inspiring new discoveries, and developing approaches that may benefit those affected by the disease.

An unwavering commitment
In 2024, CRS will invest a total of $17.2 million in cancer research through its three annual programs, including the Operating Grants program. This investment will support a total of 148 grants, helping scientists advance their work in cancer prevention, detection, and treatment.
