2019 ScotiaBank Charity Challenge
Cancer research colours proudly represented
13 people braved the rainy weather to carry the colours of the Cancer Research Society on April 27 and 28, for the 2019 Scotiabank Charity Challenge. Together, they raised 3,135 $ in support of cancer research.
For the fourth consecutive year, the Cancer Research Society has invited those willing to help cancer research to register to the event. In 4 years, over 45 000 $ were thus raised by Montrealers who participated on behalf of the Cancer Research Society.
Designed for the entire family, Scotiabank Charitable Challenge is a pan-Canadian philanthropic event, which offers challenges of various difficulty levels, for both adults and younger runner or walkers. Every year the event attracts thousands of participants, allowing them to get involved, in support of a local cause they have at heart. Since 2003, ScotiaBank Charitable Challenge has raised 63 million dollars to benefit Canadian charitable organizations.
