$190,000 Raised Thanks to a Memorable Evening

The 4th edition of the Accords Célestes evening organized to benefit the Cancer Research Society (the Society) which was held on Tuesday, November 2nd, raised a record $190,000 which will be dedicated to research to outsmart cancer. Hosted by Society spokesperson André Robitaille, the evening was both heavenly and memorable.

This year’s edition was presented thanks to the dedicated group of volunteers who form the Organizing Committee in a new format: in person at the well-known Mousso restaurant for some, and for others, in the comfort of their home.

Guests enjoyed a four-course gourmet menu presented by renowned Chef Antonin Mousseau-Rivard, perfectly paired with wines from Maison Jean Loron and followed by an unforgettable musical performance by singer-songwriter Michel Rivard.

Some guests were also able to take part in a Wine Master Class presented by TD Securities and led by Mr. Hoffmann from Maison Jean Loron, a winery represented by wine agency La Céleste.

“The Society would like to thank all those who made this evening possible and the generous donors who contributed to advancing cancer research. The funds raised during this event will allow us to fund innovative projects that will have an impact on cancer patients.”
— Manon Pepin, President and Chief Operating Officer, Cancer Research Society

“We are very proud of the 2021 edition (the 4th)! We have raised a record amount that could climb even higher because of our continued efforts. It is still possible to make a donation to the event. THANK YOU”
— Charles Goyer and Luc Rodrigue, co-chairs of the organizing committee

We thank the many partners who contributed to the event’s success: Novacap (patron of wines), SFL Gestion de Patrimoine (delivery services), TD Securities (master class), Benny & Co., Robic, Alfid, Médicaments Novateurs Canada, Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, Solotech, La Céleste and Maison Jean Loron.
