Brain Cancer Research Grants

Research priorities

Every day, eight Canadians are diagnosed with brain cancer—a disease that disproportionately affects children and remains one of the deadliest forms of cancer. Fewer than 25% of patients survive beyond five years. The burden is heavy on patients, their loved ones, and the healthcare system. Despite progress, treatment options remain limited.

To accelerate progress, the Cancer Research Society and Brain Canada Foundation are launching a national translational research program to turn discoveries into concrete solutions for patients.

This funding initiative promotes multidisciplinary collaboration between researchers and clinicians to translate fundamental research findings into new methods for studying, diagnosing, or treating brain cancer in children and/or adults.
