Join us for the 11th edition of the Urban BBQ presented by RBC Royal Bank. This annual fundraising event gathers the “who’s who” of the Montreal business community; It’s the perfect opportunity to network in a festive and casual atmosphere, while supporting the Cancer Research Society. 

It is also a chance to enjoy a delicious BBQ-style lunch, catered and prepared with passion by our guest Chef Marc-André Jetté and his team. Ricardo Larrivée, the Urban BBQ’s Ambassador, and TV Host and Actor André Robitaille, the Cancer Research Society’s Spokesperson will also be in attendance. Undoubtedly a winning recipe for a winning event!

Since its inception in 2014, the Urban BBQ has raised over $5.4 million, contributing to the funding of 44 research projects.

Thanks to events like this, the Cancer Research Society, whose mission is to exclusively fund cancer research, has invested over $423 million since 1945 to prevent, detect, and treat this disease.

Ricardo Larrivée

Chef, host, and author, Ricardo Larrivée is an iconic figure in Quebec’s culinary scene. Founder of Ricardo Media, he has won the hearts of Quebecers with his popular cooking shows, best-selling cookbooks, and eponymous magazine. Ricardo is also recognized for his community involvement and his desire to make cooking accessible to everyone. As the ambassador of the Urban BBQ, he brings his expertise and passion for cooking to support cancer research and inspire the generosity of Montreal’s business community. 

Marc-André Jetté

Co-owner and chef of Hoogan & Beaufort and Annette bar à vin, Marc-André is a major player on the Canadian culinary scene. Both his restaurant and his catering service enjoy a solid reputation for the originality and quality of their dishes.

André Robitaille

EMCEE

Comedian, host, producer and Quebec spokesperson for the Cancer Research Society, the public has seen this multidisciplinary artist evolve in a multitude of television shows and series as well as in theater and cinema. He is also co-founder of Monarque Productions, which creates live shows. Recipient of numerous awards, André is a man with a heart that is committed to the community, including helping to outsmart cancer through research.
