Journée de la Marche du Rêve 2025

Since the beginning of this great adventure in 2014, a total of $213,000 has been raised, allowing us to award a research grant in the name of this event in September 2023. An incredible achievement for a community-organized event, especially one held at a campground! Among the community-organized events across Canada benefiting the Cancer Research Society, “La Journée de la Marche du Rêve” stands out as the largest in terms of annual donations.

In 2024, the event was one of the seven finalist projects selected by Camping Québec for the prestigious Innovation in Customer Experience – Orbite 2024 award. This award recognizes campgrounds that distinguish themselves through innovative initiatives, whether through new services, products, or any other approach that enhances the customer experience, promotes the campground, and serves as a unique distinguishing factor (Source: Camping Québec). On October 26, during Camping Québec’s Annual Congress, Camping Domaine du Rêve proudly secured 2nd place thanks to “La Journée de la Marche du Rêve” – the only project involving volunteers and fundraising. A well-deserved recognition!
