Our Mission

One in eight women are diagnosed with breast cancer, and one in 36 will die from it. Thanks to advancements in research , significant progress has been made, but some types of breast cancer continue to lack targeted treatments.

That’s why le Challenge rose was created: a unique initiative within the Challenge Against Cancer program, entirely dedicated to supporting breast cancer research. By taking part, you’ll help research move forward while pushing your own limits and honoring a loved one affected by the disease.

The Concept

Open to all, Le Challenge rose is an experience that combines well-being and personal achievement, representing an important part of the healing process.

Sporting Challenge: A multi-day combination of hiking and yoga, including the ascent of a volcano over 1,600 metres high.

Connection Experience: An opportunity to slow down and reconnect through meditation, health workshops, and moments of sharing.

Kim Joubert: Ambassador

In 2022, after her father was diagnosed with cancer, and she herself was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer, Kim refused to let this define her. Instead, she chose to take charge of her healing journey by maintaining a positive mindset and adopting a holistic approach, alongside traditional medical treatments.

Thanks to the progress made in research, and after months of treatment, Kim is now cancer-free. Wanting to make a difference, she created Le Challenge rose : a targeted initiative to support breast cancer research.

Research is the Key

For over 80 years, the Cancer Research Society (CRS) has been one of the only philanthropic organizations in Canada dedicated exclusively to funding research on all types of cancer. It supports the most promising research projects across the country, through grants and scholarships.

Thanks to the funds raised through Le Challenge rose, and in collaboration with the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation, CRS will fund critical breast cancer research to help save lives.
