After breakfast at the Mont-Albert lodge, you will set off to discover the Mont-Albert loop, an emblematic hike in the Gaspé Peninsula National Park. This spectacular loop offers varied scenery, physical challenges and a deep immersion in the nature of the Chic-Chocs mountains.
One of the most impressive features of this hike is the vast plateau of Mont-Albert, often compared to an alpine tundra. The panoramic views from the summit and the Mont-Albert plateau are breathtaking, offering vistas of the surrounding valleys, the Chic-Chocs mountains and sometimes as far as the Gulf of St. Lawrence. The region is rich in biodiversity. You can spot woodland caribou, moose, groundhogs and a variety of birds. The alpine flora is equally diverse and colourful. A section of the trail runs alongside the Sainte-Anne River, offering serene scenery and opportunities for refreshment. The trail is well marked and crosses different types of terrain, including dense forests, rocky fields and alpine zones.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
