A leader in advancing cancer research in Canada
Year after year, the Cancer Research Society receives an incredible number of grant applications, demonstrating how essential it is to actively support research. In 2024-2025, a record number of projects were supported through our annual and targeted programs, representing a $17 million investment across Canada.
Over the past five years, the Cancer Research Society has invested more than $11.1 million in British Columbia. This has contributed to funding over 75 innovative cancer research projects, including 3 clinical trials. This investment reflects our commitment to advancing critical breakthroughs in research to better prevent, detect, and treat all types of cancer.

An evening celebrating Research and Impact
- Doors open at 5:30pm, buffet dinner served
- Program is from 6:10pm – 7:15pm
- Networking continues until 8:30 pm
- Paid parking available at Royal Centre. Dinner will be provided.
