Antonia Palmer, New Member of Our Board of Directors

December 5, 2025 – Christian Paupe, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cancer Research Society (CRS), is proud to announce the appointment of Antonia Palmer as a new board member. In 2009, her two-year-old son was diagnosed with an agressive form of cancer. She decides to transform this devastating news into a deeply inspiring movement, as she became a dedicated advocate for children with cancer and their families.

Deeply committed to cancer research, particularly cancers affecting children, adolescents, and young adults, Ms. Palmer founded Neuroblastoma Canada, co-founded the Canadian Childhood Oncology Research Network (Ac2orn), and currently serves as Executive Director at Kindred Foundation.

In addition to being involved in initiatives related to advancing cancer research, both in Canada and internationnaly, she also dedicates her energy to supporting innovative and high-impact programs aimed at bringing hope, comfort, dignity, and a better quality of life to children and young adults with cancer.
