7th Edition of the Cyclo-Walk Classic: A Huge Success
September 19, 2025 - Sherbrooke came alive to the rhythm of generosity and determination during the Cyclo-Walk Classic on September 13th. Passionate walkers and cyclists gathered to support a cause that affects us all: cancer research.
Once again, this impactful event was organized to benefit the Cancer Research Society (CRS) and the Cancer Research Institute of Université de Sherbrooke (IRCUS). Although the CRS funds research projects across Canada, the special connection we share with IRCUS gives this event a unique significance.
A Record that Brings Hope
Together, we achieved something extraordinary as a record sum of $54,500 net was raised. This was made possible by the energy and dedication of over 175 participants, either solo or in teams, who took on the Cyclo-Walk challenge.
This success is concrete proof that, collectively, we have the power to advance science and change lives. This accomplishment wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the many participants, volunteers, donors, and our main partner, Desjardins.
