Lung Cancer Translational Research Grants

In Canada, lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer-related deaths, yet it remains one of the most underfunded in terms of research. To address this major issue, the Cancer Research Society is investing $2 million in research on this disease.

This competition will fund up to 4 translational research projects that will contribute to:

  • improve early detection of lung cancer
  • develop more effective treatments
  • understand mechanisms of resistance to current treatments.
