Program information

IMPORTANT: Applicants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or hold a valid student permit and must be residing in Canada for the entire period of the award.

Eligibility

Applicants must have completed at least 12 months of full-time study (but no more than 36 months) in a doctoral program at a Canadian university by September 1, 2025.

Budget

The amount of a doctoral research award is $70,000 over 2 years ($35,000 per year).

Application process

Eligible applicants will have their applications evaluated by a peer review committee.
