Accounts Clerk
Reporting to the Manager of Accounting and Administration, the incumbent will be responsible for various accounting and administrative support tasks within the Finance Department.

Main Responsibilities
- Perform general accounting tasks, including entering financial data into the accounting system.
- Enter invoices and initiate accounts payable payments.
- Prepare, balance, and process bank deposits and update the deposit register.
- Investigate NSF (non-sufficient funds) cheques and make necessary adjustments.
- Assist with bank reconciliations.
- Support the team in month-end closings and the year-end audit.
- Help prepare official donation receipts.
- Provide general administrative support to the Finance Department.
Requirements
- Diploma of Vocational Studies, Attestation of Collegial Studies, or Diploma of Collegial Studies in accounting, administration, or related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, Planner)
- Knowledge of Blackbaud software (Raiser’s Edge and Financial Edge) (an asset)
- Understanding of accounting principles for charitable organizations (an asset)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
