This competition, in partnership with Ovarian Cancer Canada, awarded 10 grants to innovative research projects focused on ovarian cancer.
Research priorities
The Cancer Research Society and Ovarian Cancer Canada jointly launched this competition to support 10 translational/preclinical research projects aimed at developing new potential treatments for ovarian cancer.
Projects focusing on treatments that could benefit women diagnosed with less common types of ovarian cancer (e.g. endometrioid, clear cell, low-grade serous, non-epithelial) were encouraged.

Budget
The grant is limited to a maximum of $225,000 over 2 years.
Application process
The funded projects were evaluated by a scientific committee.
